I'm a Senior studying my undergrad in Mechanical Engineering at Tufts University. I love getting hands-on and I'm passionate about all things design. I'm interested in electronics, machining, 3D printing, and medical devices.
In collaboration with a professor at Tufts Medical Center, my team and I have developed a Prosthetic Foot Test Rig that simulates a gait cycles' distributed loading on a prosthetic foot in order to asses prosthetic feet in how well they mimic the biomechanics of an anatomical ankle. We are now in the process of validating our results and collecting data.
My name is Marinez Jose, but you can call me Nezy, and I'm a Senior studying my Undergrad in Mechanical Engineering at Tufts University. The core of my motivation stems from my love of making. For much of my life this fostered into a passion for the fine arts and has shifted gears to engineering. Right now I'm very interested in working in robotics, medical devices, and consumer electronics.
